1.New Design
Tamagotchi Friends is way bigger than the older Tamagotchis.
On this pic you will see the size difference between "Tamagotchi Friends" and "Tamagotchi Music Star".
A good thing with the bigger size is that it feels more comfortable to hold it , but if it´s a kid with small hands that will play, the big size can make it harder to hold.
There´s still 3 buttons. From left (A) in the middle (B) and to the right (C).

2.How to take care of your Tamagotchi Friends
(information for every icon)
ICON 1
When you press B,the Tamagotchis age,weight and will be shown. It will also show you the gender and what generation it is.
If you press B again, you´ll see the Tamagotchis name and how many points you have. (You use points to shop.) You can earn more points by playing games.
If you press B AGAIN, you´ll see if your tamagotchi is hungry and happy.
If your tamagotchi is hungry,feed it. (Go to the 2n icon,
the icon that looks like a fork and a spoon.)
When you press B, you have to choose, snacks or meal. You choose meal if your tama is hungry, and you choose snack if your tama is unhappy. But it´s bad to give it to much snack,so instead of giving it snack when it´s unhappy,play with it.
The standard food is bread,but you can buy more food in the shop.
Now,I´ll talk about the first icon again. (I think it is a weight thing ;) )
Yeah,if you press B once again when you are at the " Hungry/Happy page";you´ll come to the "Bff page". There can you se how good friend your tamagotchi is with his/her bff. (More info about this later)
3.The Third icon (TOILET)
If you find poop on the screen, or if your tamagotchi have to poop, click this icon!
4th icon (the door)
The 4th icon looks like a door. If you choose it, you can choose between shop,play games,go to the park or PC.
If you choose shop, you can choose what you want to shop.
You can buy food,snack or jewelry with your gotchi points. You can earn gotchi points by playing games.
If you choose "Game", you can choose between 5 different games. (you start with 3,and have to unlock 2)
I will tell you about the 3 starter games:
1. DROP CATCH -Press A to move the open bag left and press C to move it right. Catch the music notes,but avoid the poops.¨v
2. SELECT GET- Collect the right amount of the given icon. Press A to select and B to confirm. Press C to get a new selection of icons to choose from.
3.MIMIC
A random character will do a lot of poses,and stop at one of them. Then your tamagotchi will start doing poses,press any button when your tamagotchi pose the same as the other tamagotchi.
THE PARK
You can go to the park with your tamagotchi. Just selcet the door icon and select "park".
In the park,your tamagotchi will play with another tamagotchi.
PC
If you select "PC", you´ll get a "Login password". I think the password is for Dreamtown. (http://tamagotchifriends.com/dreamtown/)
A online game that you will be able to play soon!
I think it will be a little bit like the old tamagothi online games for v3,4 an v5. (tamatown.com)

The Heart icon (5th icon)
On this icon,you can bump with your friend. Bumping means that two tamagotchis can visit each other. To bump, one tamagotchi has to select "host", and the other one has to choose "visit". When the text on the screen says "connect", hold the two Tamagotchis against each other's backs. When they are connected,you will hear a beep and a text on the screen will say "ok".Then they´ll play togheter!

The 6th icon (the mail)
If you select this icon,you can send texts to another tamagotchi. Select write to write a text and send to another tama,select recieve to recieve a text from another tama,select "draft" if you saved a text earlier and want to send it now, and select "inbox" if you want to look at older mails you´ve recieved.
To send/recieve a text,hold the tamagotchis like when you bump. (back to back)

Icon 7 (The chest)
Here can you see all jewelry you have.

Icon 8 (The book)
Here can you see all your tamagotchi friends (to become friend with a tamagotchi,bump with it!)
and your memory. (I think you will be able to see died tamagotchis/ your tamagotchis parents, im not sure.)

Icon 9 (medicine)
If your tamagotchi is sick,click this icon until the skull disappear!

Icon 10 (Attention)
You can not click this icon,but it will light up when your tamagotchi needs attention! (when it´s very hungry or unhappy, for example.)

SOME EXTRA INFORMATION
Contrast: You can change the contrast by pressing B and C togheter. To raise the contrast,press B ,and to lower it,press A.
Pause: You can pause your tamagotchi by pressing A & B.
Clock: If you press B,without pressing A first, the clock will come up.To change the date/time, press A & B togheter. The hearts you see under the clock is how many times you can bump. (maximum 6 bumps per day.)
